Nope, this is not some vaguely racist term, but the name for our beer today. This is the quite lovely Vedett Extra White. I had this while out with friends in the city of Durham, at an awesome establishment known as "The Head of Steam" (Side note: If you have not been here or to the one in Newcastle then seriously go! If you're a good beer nut like me, then it will please you to no end. Too much choice to try in one sitting, you'll have to keep going back, also, their food looks amazing... There is most likely going to be blog post about this in the future. Right, now back to our regularly scheduled programming).
The beer as you can see, is very light, and taste/texture wise, it follows the mold quite successfully, of a weissbier, so any fans of those beers will like this. Great flavour, easy to drink, does what a weissbier should do. I will add that this pint cost me £4.50, not something I will blame the establishment for, but what we have to remember here, this is speciality beer. Worth the money really. Great beer, great pub, great success :P
